Hey, Trish, how's things down under?
Di, I'm sorry to hear about your paycut. I know just how it feels - I'm still at just 30 hours a week, despite promises from the boss. I've been yanked around from 80 hrs/payperiod to 75 to 48 to 60. It's just impossible. I don't have anywhere to run right now, and am actively looking for ways to earn more income in a second job or something. I hope the pampered chef program can help, and I really pray that you find a great job with better pay!
Micah, I'm glad you found a church, and I'm so glad Julie made a sale! Four months isn't uncommon, really, especially in this economy.
Well, I'm up past my bedtime, and I have so many chores to do on my day off tomorrow! I'd better go.

Hey Ruthie. Just taking it easy. Physiologist is sure I have fibromyalgia, but I'm waiting for a proper diagnosis. My body is telling me that she's right though. My doctor thinks it's a definite possibility but won't diagnose me, so it means going to another doctor.

Busy, busy busy!
I'm trying so hard to work on my house to get it ready to sell. Finished replastering and painting in the dining room just in time to host a mother's day dinner. I was actually slapping on paint in my jammies prior to getting ready for church Sunday morning!
Took the evening off last night and worked on a jigsaw puzzle, but tonight after work I'm going to start sanding the doors in the front hall. Sometimes I'm just in despair over the amount of work there is to do!

Around, busy, and facing increasing demand for my vacation time.
Now my dad wants me to take our long awaited trip to New England the third week of June. Two of his three living sisters are there, and one of them is having her birthday that week. Two of my cousins are even flying up for the day ...
Suddenly the gas seems a bit steep ... but then again, not much more than I'd be spending at home.

Trish, didn't I say I was going? Guess not ... as long as the time off work is approved, I don't see why not. I'm sure I'd spend more on gas if I was home! And due to the fact that I've already accumulated 40 hour weeks of vacation, I'll make more when I'm gone than when I'm there!

Actually I'm taking two trips ... one to New England and one to Chicago in July, when Pampered Chef takes over the town.

Hi everybody. How are you doing?
Got home from church today, and after a nap, did a whole pile of cooking and baking. About 2 hours ago, some friends arrived from Wales. They leave to go to other places in Australia on Thursday night, so we have been trying to get some meals and desserts etc made or at least organised so that we don't have a huge amount to do when they are here. More time for us to actually spend with them instead of having to do lots of meal preparations in front of them. Seven of them have arrived, so it looks as though things are going to be busy whilst they are here. It should be good though.

Hey all! I'm still around...just been busy.
Things are going well. Josie is growing like a weed. She's learned to smack with her lips (sounds like she's chewing gum noisily) and do raspberries with her lips. She's also rolling around like crazy. Gone are the days that I can leave her on her pallet on the floor and go get something from another room! She will likely be crawling soon. She has two bottom teeth and is working on more.
Austin's been working normal hours, which is wonderful! He's planted 11 tomato plants, several corn plants, and 1 bell pepper (to replace a tomato plant that died). Guess I'll be putting up tomato sauce and salsa like crazy!
Shaunii, WONDERFUL!! Congratulations!
Di, your trips sound like fun!
Ruth, you amaze me how you can get stuff done around the house! Glad you got it finished for your Mother's Day dinner.
Trish, you sound busy! Glad you have visitors. That sounds fun!
Micah, congrats to Julie!! Glad you update us now and then.

Mmmm, home made salsa! Sounds great! I'm so glad Josie is thriving. What fun days, watching her change so quickly and learn new things! Makes me wish I could have had more children. Just wait 'til she's running around, you'll think it's a violation of physical laws that such short little legs can go so fast!
MASTER Shaunii - too cool! Congratulations, and don't hurt yourself clearing all the stuff out of the office!
Di, those trips sound like fun - I've always wanted to see New England. Have you met these relatives before? Chicago can be fun, too, but I got lost there once and ended up in Leroy Brown's neighborhood - very scary!
Trish, all that baking and cooking sounds like work! I'm glad you got to visit with your friends.
I have to finish the front hall, the bath hall, repaint my bedroom, and I haven't even touched the upstairs yet. Sigh. So much to do!!! I may end up putting it on the market 'as is', though I really hate to do that. Planning a trip to the city next weekend to get the flooring for the front hall, and I'll have to get the wainscoting cut and installed, too. Oh, well, I'm never bored!
Ooops, the boss wants me, so I must dash, laters!

Hi Tammy, Ruthie. Good to see you again.
Yep, lots of cooking and baking going on. The visitors are still here and things have been so hectic. They're here for about another 24 hours. Our household is really exhausted. I know they're still trying to deal with jetlag. We took most of them out to a wildlife park today. Everybody had a good time, particularly the kids. They were feeding kangaroos, patting koalas and all sorts of things. Some of them don't want to go back to Wales, but unfortunately they don't have a choice.
Tammy, I'm glad Josie's doing so well.

Yes, three years ago I went up there and visited the family. I think I will see more of them this time since it is one aunt's birthday.

Wow, it's been a long time since I've done painting. Years ago, I helped friends paint their outdoor decking. I actually quite enjoyed it.

Tomorrow and Saturday is Flea Market day for me. I will be attempting to peddle my kitchen products at this event amid my brother's junk.
Say a prayer for me if you would. My brother is under a lot of stress and is taking it out on everybody around him. I am not looking forward to dealing with him this weekend.

I did it! I graduated this past Saturday!!! 
I have a week to pack up my stuff, finish up files at the internship and break down my office (you know move out all that I've brought in)... I am soooooooooo excited... it has been 2 long, great, hard, fullfilling, life changing, did I say hard??? years! Praise God! I am so blessed and I wouldn't change a thing about the last two years.
