We went to see them in Florida a couple of years ago and the only seats that were available were in the choir loft. We were disappointed, but took them anyway. We figured we would just look at their backs all evening. But it was so much fun because they kept turning around , singing and making comments to all of us back there. We were closer to them than if we had been out front. Loved it!!

ORIGINAL: pauljackson I am here in KY at NQC. BB's performance, tonite, of LOOK FOR ME AT JESUS FEET, is the greatest thing I have ever heard them do LIVE. I was very near the stage. Was blown away. PJ Had never heard them do this tune 'til Thursday night. Did not know it was the nominated song...just knew it was special. Squire must be blessed as well. He wrote the song about 30 years ago...and these personable singers made it the "Song of the Year"...Wow! What a story. I was able to speak to Ronnie and congratulate him. Got a copy of that Cd too...the one with Squire's tune. I think I will blog about this at my site. Gonna post something about NQC there a little later. These guys will be a major force for good and God in SG, for years to come.

I kept thinking they were different songs.

There is a separate song by that name--the Happy Goodmans' "Look for Me" ("Look for me, for I will be there too...")

Cannot imagine why it was shortened.

I had been wanting to see the Booth Brothers for quite some time. Even before they won all the awards at NQC. I had tlaked with Michael online, knew he was a very nice guy, but had never had the chance to see them live or meet them. Well, tonight I got that chance. I saw them in Rome,Ga with Triumphant Qt. And I was blown away. Not only are these guys top notch preformers, but they down to earth guys, really sweet people. I must say up front I really didn't know what to expect from them off stage, never having a chance to meet them, and knowing how BIG they are in music, however, I know now, they are truely some of the most friendly people I have ever meet. You would have thought they had known me for years, and yet never met me before tonight. Their concert was even more thrilling. I walked away knowing why these guys won so many awards, because they truely deserve them. They were simply AWESOME!! During the Concert, they, along with Triumphant got together and sang older songs, with just the piano, and it was purely awesome. The spirit fell upon the place, and you couldn't have asked for more. Both groups together were a treat, and in my personal opinion, they need to do it more often. Triumphant was awesome as well, never saw them before tonight either. But, this is the Booth Brothers Thread, so I won't get into them much. But for anyone who is reading this and never seen The Booth Brothers in person, Do It, you will not regret it, and you won't meet three nicer guys than them. What a Night!!!!

The numbers that TQ and BB did together were totally unrehearsed!! They just get together and choose a song and sing! Jeff makes it easy for them since he can play anything in any key!
