My guy tells me that when he started talking to me, he wanted to get to know me better. I guess it's really about what's inside of a person and not what's on the outside.

I believe Jordan that there is a girl out there for you. She will come along at the right time if you stop fussing and be anxious about it. Looks are not everything. It's what's in the heart that really counts esp. for a wise girl who wants to settle down with the right guy.

If you get rejected many times, don't take it personally. Be thankful that you did not spend your life with the wrong mate. Keep looking and never give up and don't get too worried about it. Finding Ms. Right might take a longer time then you might think, esp if you are excellence-oriented and want to find a life partner and soulmate not just get married to the 1st girl who comes along.

Blessings!

There's nothing wrong with your looks. The only thing I'd suggest is to lose weight b'c I think everyone wants someone who takes care of themselves so they'll be around a while. What I've always told my kids and have done it myself half my life is, when I'm not confident, I fake it. I pretend I am and throw in humor as often as possible and before I know it, I believe it and it becomes real--not only to others but to me as well. People--men and women both--love confidence and humor. It's a people magnet, simply put.

o.k., i didnt read any of the other posts, but, i think you should pray to God for self-confidence, and to learn to love and appreciate yourself in Him. Ask Him to show you yourself as HE sees you......and ask Him how you might be able to BE more attractive to women. He will help you. I used to feel very insecure and self concious as a young teenager, but now i am really learning to love me for me, and in that i feel better about who i am and people see that and are drawn to it. Just believe that God loves you cause He does, and find out what your gifts and talents are and try to be the best person you can be..... and if you are really interested in finding a mate you should be praying about that specifically, too!
Godbless!

Relax! If you are thinking of yourself stop it--think about her--be interested in her and not so focused on yourself. Enjoy the conversation-be happy--happy people draw people to themselves. Just enjoy the moment don't worry about the before or what might be after--be present in the present 100%.

Hey Jordan! You need self-confidence when it comes to this. If you think you're ugly, change that thought to a positive one. Instead of saying, "I feel ugly." Rebuke the thought and say, "I'm cute" or whatever you want to say, haha.

Like Leib Lazarow says, "Who has confidence in himself will gain the confidence of others."

:)
