Good afternoon, Nadine!! I came here for a coool spot under a tree. It hear that the 100 acre wood is cooler than TX, so I thought I'd relax a little before getting back to work. How is the book club going?

Speaking of books... My mother recently loaned me an audio book to listen to. I resisted listening to it because I am so busy, but I had a lot of laundry to do this weekend and thought I could listen to it while I folded clothes. I HAVE to recommend this book, especially to Nadine and WRB and the others who have lost their husbands to death. It's sort of a biography by a woman who lost her husband. She has expressed sooooo many of my own thoughts and described the way I feel exactly the way I describe it myself. And it's kind of funny, too. The writer is a Christian, and her friends are Christian, and so scripture and spiritual principles are scattered throughout the book. I haven't even finished it yet, but I'm still recommending it! Always Green by Patti Hill I'm sure it's not only on audio. Likely you'll be able to check out a copy to actually read from your local library. besiderself

Wow. I'm glad you were blessed by the book. I love books that do that.... just give that encouraging hopeful sense.
