I Wish It Would Rain

Dan (my partner) and I sing that quite often in our ministry - great song! It sounds like we're even using the same track. Dan's the one who does the "oo-oo-oo-oo" at the end, and he can really reach it, well on a good day, anyway.

hey, nadine....i haven't been out to the wood lately. missed you! sorry you're still in the heat wave. we had a wonderful, cooler week here in IL last week.

and thanks for sharing your daughter's thoughts. that was adorable!!

my daughter made me laugh today. when she called, i'd been napping. "i'm sorry, mama. but i just wanted to tell you how HAPPY i am today! and i just knew that would make YOU happy...so that's more important than a nap, right? " (yes, sweetie...that's WAYYYYYYYYY more important than my nap!)

it means if you go to pfy forum you will see a list of threads in order of last posted. so if no one posts in a thread it'll keep dropping lower down the page so eventually you'd need to click next to get the next page listing more threads.

Still hot here in Scottsdale! Evenings and mornings are bearable though. We don't cool down until the second half of October.

Happy Wednesday or as my Hubby called it Humpday (cuz its the middle of a work week. )

I actually have a day off today. Yea! Well, at least I don't have to work in the normal way. I have had so few days off lately that I have a very long todo list and lots errands to run. But I am going to pretend it's a day off anyway.

I hope you all are doing well. I am feeling very detached since I can spend so little time here now, but I think it has been a good change too. :D]

Are you loving this rainy weather as much as we are? We went to Flagstaff and came back down through Jerome and Sedona over the weekend. It was a wonderful trip. Got to drive through some incredibly heavy rain too. And saw three rainbows! It was wonderful!

Detached ... yeah, that's how I've been feeling about CW. I haven't had time to run around the PFY threads like I normally do. And the idea of trying to get caught up, well ... all I can say is LOLOLOL. That's sooooo not going to happen. I'll just have to jump in when I have time. But for now, I better get at it. Just taking advantage of a little down time this morning. Got another busy day ahead. But no complaints from this neck of the valley. Life has been very good this summer.

Oh I love all the places you mentioned!!!! Oak Creek is just gorgous!!!! I want to go sooo bad, but we will wait until the weather cools a bit.

The rain has been great! it actually got down to the high 70's last night.:D]

Yep, life has been busy....I'm not complaining either. God is good!!!
