Fiction or Non-Fiction? Which do you prefer to read?

uncabeeil -> RE: Fiction or Non-Fiction? (4/29/2008 3:05:25 PM)

All I read, other then the Bible, is fiction.

SuspenseWriter -> RE: Fiction or Non-Fiction? (4/29/2008 3:09:18 PM)

And we fiction writers thank you from the bottom of our mercenary hearts, Unk! [:D]

Hey John, I just plugged your books in another thread, too. You gotta start paying me for all this publicity! [;)]

Cool beans! What thread? And when I write your check, is "Beeil" spelled with two e's or three? [8D]

I prefer fiction for recreational reading, but my life wouldn't be complete without my history and archaeology books.

StephK -> RE: Fiction or Non-Fiction? (4/30/2008 5:35:08 PM)

I like both. I'm on a fiction kick right now but I will get tired and feed my brain some information and then get tired of that and move on to another genre. It's all good in my opinion.

shemaromans -> RE: Fiction or Non-Fiction? (4/30/2008 10:04:54 PM)

I prefer nonfiction but also love getting lost in a good fantasy or mystery.

sunshine4God -> RE: Fiction or Non-Fiction? (4/30/2008 11:52:29 PM)

Either is good for me as long as its not too thick.

PureLight -> RE: Fiction or Non-Fiction? (5/1/2008 6:53:37 AM)

I used to be a big fiction buff but I dunno, I haven't really read much of it lately. At most, I've read like, Christopher Buckley lately and that's political satire/fiction.

lexie -> RE: Fiction or Non-Fiction? (5/1/2008 2:21:26 PM)

It doesn't matter to me at all. I try to go back and forth evenly between the two.

I love reading biographies and history books. I've always been very interested in the Rwandan genocide and I read a lot of books on that subject.

But there is always new fiction books coming out that I want to read.

HisCovenant -> RE: Fiction or Non-Fiction? (5/2/2008 4:44:10 PM)

I only read fiction and the Bible.

Gallivant -> RE: Fiction or Non-Fiction? (5/3/2008 10:36:18 AM)

Fiction, it's much more exciting.

wshepherd -> RE: Fiction or Non-Fiction? (5/3/2008 11:13:23 AM)

I prefer non-fiction. I love learning things. Most of what I buy is Bible-related: archaeological, theological, cultural, historical, etc.

scottmcc1 -> RE: Fiction or Non-Fiction? (5/3/2008 9:08:49 PM)

Both but I usually prefer non-fiction.

Auben -> RE: Fiction or Non-Fiction? (5/4/2008 4:39:49 PM)

Both. I have more non-fiction on my Wishlist because I'm easily fascinated by history books but I probably enjoy a good fiction read more.

DaveW -> RE: Fiction or Non-Fiction? (5/6/2008 12:54:49 PM)

I like both. Frequently I will be reading a SF novel and a theological book at the same time.

MrFribbles -> RE: Fiction or Non-Fiction? (5/6/2008 10:49:18 PM)

Well, being the young Bible college student that I am, reading fiction has become a luxury for me. So, while I don't especially dislike non-fiction, whenever I am given time for recreational reading, I'll usually dive into a nice work of fiction.
