We havent got the furniture put together yet, but the room is pretty much cleaned out, we'll probably get to that next weekend or so.

Oh I'm so jealous! My dad's coming up Tues/Wed/Thur of next week to build the wall and install the door for June Bug's room ... and he's also drywalling our closet (yay!! it's really really gross right now ... completely unfinished with hunks of wall missing and just dirty lathe ...) and as a housewarming gift from my parents, he'll be installing a closet organizer I love my daddy! We'll probably just prime the wall for June Bug's room, so it won't *near* be finished, but at least I'll have an actual room to put all the clothes/diaper stuff in! It's going to double as a guest room, so we've gotta figure out the logistics of that all yet. Until all the sanding's done, though, we can't set up either the crib or the co-sleeper cuz we don't want dust all over it!

(Oh ... and I'm totally guessing girl too, Donna!

Donna, I am guessing boy... just because everyone else is saying girl. This way I will be able to stick my tongue out at them when I am right!

That's right! I'm all about non-conformity!

Besides, didn't Jesus say something about not following what everyone else is doing?

Thanks for the encouragement, ladies. I feel better after lying down. I don't mind the pressure so much as his jabs and pokes into sensitive areas - he was really going to town!! LOL.

Oh DONNA - totally feeling the girl vibe here!!!!

KIM - it'll be great just to have a place for all the "stuff". What a sweet daddy you have! I wish mine wasn't so far away.

Wanted to post this link especially for the ladies who have hubbies serving in our military. How true it must be! It's a pdf.

Thanks for the code, Tammy!! I guess I should think about those about now, huh?

Lily - June Bug occasionally has spurts of cervix/rectal punching as well ... it's not very pleasant and often causes me to actual yelp out loud! It's happening more and more lately, so I'm (literally) feeling your pain!

I get the cervix/rectal pumps as well, although they are more amusing than anything. It's funny, Nadia never hit me in those areas. I think she had sensitivity as a girl..... And this is a boy. Kim, maybe you are having a boy!

Oh, good - I'm glad I'm not the only with with a rowdy little puncher! Maybe it is a boy thing. Today's episode was just much longer and more intense than usual - of course it was happening when the junk hauler guy was finally here. I was trying to talk to him without wincing and hunching over (which probably would have scared him to death since I look like I'm about to pop).

I had contractions tonight that were pretty strong. They came 10 minutes apart for a little over 2 hours but have stopped now. I have a feeling David may arrive on the 20th, but I could be wrong.

Bravado ladies.... How easy or difficult is it to get on the sports bra back type bra??

I HATE that kind and I'm dreading ordering and hating them.

Ugh.

BTW, I have a cervix kicker too. I had yesterday off and when I got to work this morning one gal was in shock how much I've dropped. eek. and it's true. I can breathe easier but peeing more. Her activity level has gone through the roof but it's the wiggly moves, no more sharp kicks up in my rib cage, instead its long stretches or barrel rolls. very weird. but kind of fun to watch.

Brandy, I don't know about the bras. How exciting that your little one is dropping! I've been fortunate enough to miss most of the rib kicks too. It seems he keeps his legs pretty straight, so his feet are usually closer to his head.

Well, I'm off to my water aerobics class - there are 2 classes with little old ladies before mine and the expressions on their faces when I walk in are hilarious. They used to smile and think I was cute - now they look scared to death - like I just might blow right there! Wednesday one wide-eyed little lady actually backed away from me and said, "I sure hope you don't have your baby in the pool!" I said, I'd be thrilled if it happened that fast!

Why the 20th? Just a gut feeling? 37 weeks on Sunday, right?

37 weeks on Monday.

I guess it's just feeling I have. I have also had a few dreams about having the baby on the 20th and a few random people (at places like Wal-mart and the post office) have told me I will have the baby on the 20th. It was a little weird, but we will see in a few days if they were right or not. LOL

True that!! My midwife and student were putting their guesses down =) The student said girl and June 6 and my secondary midwife says girl, June 16, 8.5 lbs. It was pretty funny having them guess!

I'm 10 weeks now and I haven't gained any weight. I wouldn't be surprised by that if I were throwing up or not eating, but I'm eating as much... or more... than I ever did before. Should I be worried that the baby isn't growing? I'm going to be worried anyhow, so it doesn't matter what you say

13 days until my next sonogram. I will feel sooooo much better when I see the hearbeat again and reach the second trimester. I'll still worry, but maybe not quite as much

You should absolutely not worry about not gaining weight in the first trimester. Many people lose weight then. You'll make up for it in the second and third trimesters.

Yep, I didn't start gaining until the 2nd trimester. Remember - your baby is just a little bean right now...
