I am 37 weeks today!! Some time in the next 5 weeks, I'll be having a baby. I REALLY hope it is sooner rather than later. I have been in extreem pain for a few days now, and it keeps getting worse. My left hip/groin area hurts so much I can hardly move and it makes getting in and out of bed a chore. It takes quite a while for me to get out of bed and I usually end up crying out in pain. I skipped church yesterday because I knew I wouldn't be able to sit on a hard wooden pew for an hour. I want this baby out!!

That's good to know. Thank you for that tid bit of information.

You made it to full term, Emily! I just spent almost an hour trying to get a certain 3 year old to understand why I cannot just push the baby out right now. Apparently the waiting has become too much for her and even when I told her that a baby this tiny would be very, very sick, she still wanted us to go to the hospital today. I want to make a countdown calendar or something for her, hoping she'll get a better grasp of how long until the baby comes, but I'm not sure how to do that so she's not upset if baby isn't here by the end of the countdown. Maybe add a week to my due date, since the last two have been in the week before or day of my due date? I certainly don't want to go over with my big baby history (and yes, I know there are different feelings about that...for ME and MY baby...I don't care to have anything over 10 pounds again, and I know my doctor will not fight me about inducing at 39 or so weeks).

Then tell her that sometime in that colored part the baby will be here, but that we can't know, only God knows.

umm someone please tell me where has the time gone?!... I AM 30 WEEKS ALREADY?!.. just WHEN did THAT happen?... oh my! I have so much to do still.....both at work and home to prepare for the coming of my lovely boy.... but seriously.. this pregnancy has gone super fast.... even if I was sick a lot of the times with sinus problems!! I just had a fresh juice thing...Beetroot...ginger...banana and something else which I don't remember... and baby has been JUMPING inside! he must have liked it!! Also please pray for us, my hubby who is an IT consultant got his 2 weeks notice on Friday... which means he will be home while I go to work while pregnant... I am praying for an attitude adjustment to myself as this happened the last time I was pregnant as well and I went back to work at 6 weeks post C-section... I DO NOT want to be bitter... he is a very hard worker and has not had a single day off in almost a year and half so he deserves some time off... and even if he doesn't find something really fast... we will be OK financially for a while. what makes this sitiuation harder on HIM is my mum will be here on the 10th June from Australia... and he will be at home with her while I go to work... it will be both hard on him as a male.. and on my mum as in seeing her pregnant daughter go to work while the hubby is at home!.... last time it worked out fine and I thank God they get along fine... but its still a hard sitiuation. Sorry.. lots of this is not really pregnancy related... but I don't really post any where else so I thought I would update you all :-) oh.. I am starting to look VERY pregnant right now...... YAY! oh and a question.. when is it usually that you start seeing the doctor weekly?.. so far its been every 4 weeks... don't they then go down to every 2 weeks.. then down to weekly? I have my appointment tomorrow so I could ask then.. but I just thought to check if anyone here knows. Sherry

Stephanie, congrats and welcome! Our first '09 baby! Sherry, I think they had me start coming every 2 weeks at around 30 weeks, then weekly at 36 weeks... I'll pray for you and dh. I hope he does find something else very soon as well. Donna, that is so funny that she wants the baby to come now. Patience is hard on the little ones. Emily, I hope you find some relief while little David finishes cooking! Kim, oh good - I'm not the only one? Jae, I know - I can't believe I am due tomorrow! I know the list says Wednesday, but the OB is saying tomorrow, so I might as well go with their date to make things easier... I have another appt tomorrow. Hopefully the BP will be cooperating and there will be some cervical change (it doesn't feel any different to me, but what do I know)...

You know, I was wondering about her over the weekend. The last post she wrote was the one where she was describing what almost sounded like a seizure or something. I hope she is okay. Maybe we can all lift her up in prayer since we haven't heard anything since then.

Welcome Stephany, congratulations! I'm still here! Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I haven't had much to report. By the time I made myself call my dr about the wierd thing that happened to me it had already been almost 24 hours. So the nurse said that since it hadn't happened again and I was feeling just fine that I should just stay home and take it easy and if it happened again to call right away. It hasn't happened again since then, so hopefully it wasn't anything serious. I had my weekly doctor appointement today. I'm 37 1/2 weeks! Everything looked good. The baby is head down and her heart beat is in the 140's. My blood pressure was pretty high when they first took it (140/75). So they had me lay on my left side for a while and re-took it a few minutes later. It was down to where it regularly is the second time (110/57). Oh, and my GBS test came back negative! Praise God! I've been feeling pretty good besides the regular end of pregnancy discomforts. My back, hips, legs and feet hurt and my calfs, ankles and feet are constantly swolen. None of my shoes fit me except for one pair of slip on type tennis shoes (they are wides even!) and even those are uncomfortably tight. I have trouble staying in one position very long these days, I feel like I constatly want to be moving. I think the baby dropped about a week ago. I can breath better, eat more, I have to pee more often (like every 15 minutes) and my belly is noticibly lower. My mom even commented on it with out me prompting her at all. I feel like there is a bowling ball between my legs. There is no way I could even come close to crossing them now! So maybe it will be sooner rather than later! I bought everything I need to pack my hospital bag today, so I'll do that tonight or tomorrow. I've been putting it off because we haven't had the extra money for me to buy the things I wanted, but I finally just told DH that I needed to get that done and if we have to go without somethings until his next paycheck, we'd still be fine. So that's a relief to have that stuff. I also bought some fabric to try to make a Moby type baby wrap. I'm really excited about that. Now I just have to figure out where my sewing machine got stuffed when we moved. My womens group at church threw me a baby shower today. It was really nice. I got lots more cute stuff! I'm going to go through everything tomorrow and get everything we need for when she's little organized and put all the other things she won't need for a few months away.

Totally agree, Sarah. When I look through baby clothes, I can hardly even believe my big kids used to fit them! Some of Noah's outfits, I can tell you exactly who gave them to us still. It does go really fast.

Well, I don't have any older kids to compare, but when dh and I looked at the newborn diapers awhile back we both were just amazed! They look like they're made for a little tiny doll baby! LOL Adria, thanks so much for checking in, and I'm glad everything is okay. Wow, you're really close too! Jae, thanks for asking about me! I'm doing fine and actually have everything packed! Woohoo! Kati, thanks! How is everything going with your pregnancy these days? Feeling good? Well, if anyone happens to think about it I'd appreciate a prayer or two that my BP is good tomorrow so they don't try to rush things along. Thanks!!

I called my doctor today and schedules my first visit. Its June 5th. I found out I was prego with my first almost exactly 2 yrs ago and I cain't believe everything that has changed. Before I even got pregnant with dradyn they put me on prenatal vitamins. Then when I called today and said I needed a Rx called in for them they said "Oh you don't get those until your first visit" Am I the only one that finds this wierd? My friend just had her baby and says she has a lot of them left over and offered them to me. I don't know what to do. All advice and opinions on this would be welcomed. Also what is everyones opinion on buying the baby furniture now. We are suppose to be getting that stimulus check in the middle of June and my husbands bonus from work will come then too, and we thought about buying the bulk of the furniture then - crib, matress, stroller/carseat combo, playpen, ect. My husband has a good job but sometimes money gets tight and we don't want to have to worry about it later when we don't have the extra extra money. I've never miscarried b4 and neither has any of my sisters. I guess I just am worried that I'll buy all the stuff then have a miscarriage and have to look at it all and get even more depressed. From what i'm told this is a common fear. Anyway all opinions are welcomed on both topics and thank you all for all of your kind words of welcome. Stephanie
