Hey, what ARE you if you are restored Rick Joyner anyway?
---------------------------

BTW Stephen Strader is carrying on.

"I'm in Belfast, Ireland!"

There's a tv link on the page, haven't watched it---except for a few seconds of the introduction of "APOSTLE Stephen Strader".

ordinarilly, i wouldn't pause in this, or other similar threads, but i did want to leave a brief comment.
i spent a few minutes on youtube, and a lot of the videos i caught were of him saying how he leg-dropped so and so, kicked with his "biker boots" this guy, knocked a tumor out of another, running as fast as he could and taclking another, "drop-kick", blah blah blah.

i saw a few videos, where he kind of gently nudges a few folks, knee, head-butt, etc, but to hear the guy talk, he's like "AGH! I HIT THIS GUY SO HARD, HIS TUMOR CAME OUT!"

what i'm curious about, is why there are not any videos of the real aggression?

i was hopeful in the "todd bentley, let the bodies hit the floor video" or the "UFC fighter for jesus", but both were pretty pansy.

anyone?

One, he's exaggerating everything he does, or

two, he's just making some of it up.

There is a video of a pancreatic cancer patient being kneed in the gut.

Part of the telling of dramatic stories is to create an atmosphere of expectation.

There was a particularly violent video of Bentley kicking the cancer patient in the stomach which was posted in this thread and now seems to have conveniently disappeared from the www.

It was one of the most disgusting things I have ever seen in my life...an emaciated, weak, obviously very sick man who was introduced to the audience as having Stage IV (stomach or pancreatic) cancer, was met by Bentley who promptly kicked him very hard in the stomach.

They can take the video and other like it off the web because of their likely fear of lawsuits, but I will never forget the horrified look on that mans face as he dropped to his knees in what was obviously excruciating pain.

Someone please show me where the model for stuff like this is in the Bible. Oh, I know, it's not.

Again, Satan rejoices at these outright counterfeit revivals.

Like most everyone on here(I think) I firmly believe in Divine Healing. I do not have any confidence in all the so called "faith healers". The only Faith Healer I have any confidence in is God.

There are numerous accounts of Jesus healing people. Not once did He kick, slap or tackle any of them. IMO the people who do this are just putting on a show.

Here is a link to a great church that believes in this:

quote:

Spitting Image Church

We believe in Jesus Christ. We ask people to accept him as their Lord. We baptize not by sprinkling but Spitting. We do totally immerse, if we can get enough people to spit in the baptistery to fill it. We believe in the healing power of God. By using the Spit that God gave us, we Spit on what ever hurts. "Just Like Jesus Did".

The failed healings are probably the fault of Laura and Earthless and their lack of faith. : (

Yeah. We probably caused his infidelity and the failure of his marriage too.

I have often wondered how much spittle or coughed up whatever it takes to make enough mud in an arid climate to smear on someone eyes.

Just glad I haven't been led to do that.

Thanks

I watched the revival a few times, and I have to say something. When they told people to go up the the tv and touch it or whatever for healing, I went up to it and turned around, telling the lord I accept the healing for my back. My lower back, i felt a very light almost imperceptable movement, but i felt it. It has been stronger since then and didnt go out when I slouched wrong, or layed wrong, like it did before. I would sit in this office seat leaned back with my feet up and it caused problems with my back, now I do it and nothing goes out.

I have to say that was before those reports. Maybe he just started getting off track? People do fall, unfortuntaely.

Why did people allow Bentley to do what he did?

Try this link and check the parallels---

Check out this page - "Todds' Bio". http://www.freshfireusa.com/todd-bio.php He conveniently leaves out his previous marriage, adulterous affair, abandonment of his family, and his subsequent marriage (the biblical legitamecy of which we have already discussed). Amazing the things the "prophets" annointed by our modern (false) apostles don't mention.

No, that's not it at all. If you will go through the earliest pages of this thread, many of us reported the problems and errors surrounding Bentley that were obvious right from the very beginning. His false teachings and practices, found on his Fresh Fire Ministry website for all to see, were in place long before the 'revival'. What happened at Lakeland was simply the inevitable result and culmination of the following:

- False teaching
- False prophecy
- False signs and wonders
- Occult practices
- Greed

He didn't fall. He just wasn't in line God to begin with.

I had heard of Bentley before the revival had ever begun and had him pegged as a false prophet from the get-go.

Associating with false prophets and false teachers like Joyner, Jacobs, Bickle, Cain, Wagner, and the rest of the NAR minions was also a red flag

Many people have also forgotten and or never were made privy to the fact that Todd Bentley attributed his conversion experience to an "angel" named Emma-O.

Google Emma-O and you will see it is a demonic entity from centuries past. Of course after some Christians called out his Fresh Fire website piece on that.. it was pulled from the site. Google archive still has the pages saved... forever.

Actually, my son spent a year in Japan. There the Japanese God Emma-O is the king of Hell, translating quite closely to our popular mythology of "Satan". My son had quite a laugh when he first read Bentley's web site - and I understood after he explained that!
