I'm back for a few... Sorry I had to run. My youngest had scared the DAYLIGHTS outta me.

I turn around and see him with a very sharp steak knife in his hand (holding it by the blade no less)...
Boy is sneaky and quiet. And SOMEHOW that knife got left where he could climb and reach it. THAT got fixed in a hurry, and thankfully he wasn't hurt. I was just a bit too shook up to post.

Maybe he wants a steak.

Good afternoon Sir Kerr.

Hi Santa.

Just taking a break from cleaning out the garage (again).

All this talk about weight watching is depressing.

The difference in men and women is that a perfectly beautiful woman can look in a full length mirror, find 10 things she wants to improve, and get depressed.

A man who is 70 pounds overweight, with uncombed hair and a week's growth of beard, can look in the same mirror and say: "not bad!"

Thought I'd check back in for a couple of minutes to see if the party was still going on, but I see it has mostly broken up. Everybody still seems to be in the party mood and all are still having fun.

We maybe headed for the food network for a while. I see steak being mentioned.

Sony, I told you the other day little sister is getting sassy. She should remember her day is coming!!!!

I know. The problem is she'll never be as old as I am. The other day I thought she might change her screen name to "Sassy."
Ooops! Is Sassy actually Little Inspiration?

See . . . this is one of the "dangers" of not reading the entire thread before posting. LOL

That's okay. We were just having a good laugh at your expense.

Amerigrandpa, thank you for coming. I hope you have a great weekend!
ROFLOL! Your honesty is uhm well something; that's for sure. heeheehee

Thanks. I wonder if that's why people feel intimidated by me--because I'm too honest. I hadn't thought of that before.
Sony, I was so totally teasing you a while ago; I actually thought what you said was pretty funny.

That's too bad. I would have loved that. I worried that maybe Santa turned the lights out too soon when you didn't come back. It sounds like a beautiful hat. My favorite hat is cowgirl style with a pink feather. Mom bought it for me on my 21st birthday when we went to visit Nashville. I was wearing it when we met Johnny Cash and he gave me a kiss on the check. A very special day for sure.
Oh how cool!

When my brother was about 3, his life's goal was to be "fat and ugly" and he looked up to anyone who was. Now he's the opposite but I assume his goals changed as he grew up anyway so I don't think he's too depressed about that fact.

Gospel Producer, I think you now have enough posts to put up a photo if you want. Please put one up of yourself. I really like to know who I'm talking to.

Sony, first post I remember where a brother was mentioned. Only remember reading about sisters.

I'm surprised if I've never mentioned him before. My brother is after me in age and we've always been pretty close. I remember seeing families where the siblings were constantly at each other, but we just weren't. (Mom probably had a lot to do with that, though, as we knew "bickering" wasn't allowed.) When I was a teenager, someone told me that brothers and sisters aren't supposed to like each other. I thought, "You've got to be kidding." He really is a neat brother and takes pretty good care of his sisters. He's now married and is speaking at a convention this weekend so maybe that's why I haven't mentioned him as much.

I sure am glad Bobby has a good sense of humor and Carol also. Read on:

AFTER BEING MARRIED FOR 44 YEARS, BOBBY TOOK A CAREFUL LOOK AT HIS WIFE, CAROL, ONE DAY AND SAID, 'HONEY, 39 YEARS AGO WE HAD A CHEAP APARTMENT, A CHEAP CAR, SLEPT ON A SOFA BED AND WATCHED A 10-INCH BLACK AND WHITE TV, BUT I GOT TO SLEEP
EVERY NIGHT WITH A HOT 21-YEAR-OLD GAL.

NOW I HAVE A $500,000.00 HOME, A $45,000.00 CAR, A NICE BIG BED AND A PLASMA SCREEN TV, BUT I'M SLEEPING WITH A 60-YEAR-OLD WOMAN. IT SEEMS TO ME THAT YOU'RE NOT HOLDING UP YOUR SIDE OF THINGS.'

CAROL IS A VERY REASONABLE WOMAN. SHE TOLD ME TO GO OUT AND FIND A HOT 21-YEAR-OLD GAL, AND SHE WOULD MAKE SURE THAT I WOULD ONCE AGAIN BE LIVING IN A CHEAP APARTMENT, DRIVING A CHEAP CAR, SLEEPING ON A SOFA BED AND WATCHING A 10-INCH BLACK AND WHITE TV.

AREN'T OLDER WOMEN GREAT? THEY REALLY KNOW HOW TO SOLVE YOUR MID-LIFE CRISIS!
