Depends on what kind of rainy day it is.
If it's a gloomy, rainy, spring day (like we've had several of all spring [8|]) we just bum around the house and do nothing. We're usually bummed because we like to be outside and everything feels all humid and sticky. I don't like heavy spring rains, I like spring sunshine after being in all winter!
If a nice storm comes in the middle of summer, I'll sit on the front porch and smell the rainy breeze and sit while it storms. There's NOTHING like the smell of rain coming in Oklahoma. I've lived in other states and it just doesn't smell the same.
If it's one of the first cool, rainy days in the fall, after we've just had a dry, scorching summer, I will put on a big pot of soup, and get cozy in my big chair with coffee and a book. [:)]
