I was actually hoping the mole was Eckley. The under-sherrif was a real surprise to me, although I have never liked him or the sherrif. Too political.

We finally got around to watching this last night! I've been wanting to peek in this thread, but glad I didn't. It was a shock, but like others once he walked out alone, I knew something was going to happen. I thought the car would explode too, but as soon as the under sheriff walked up I knew he was going to shoot him. I never really liked the under sheriff either. When they mentioned that the "bad cop" couldn't have done it alone it had to go "higher up", I thought of him or Eckley. But they've been making Eckley almost human lately, so I figured it wouldn't be him.

Ok, here's what I don't get, it wasn't that far from the diner so can't those folks hear??? The person shooting oblivously didn't think so because he took his time!
