Aw, God bless you, dear one. I love seeing your tender heart. One of the things that confuses us Christians is the culture we're in that says we have to be *doing* something. First of all, God wants us to *be.* There are things for us to understand (and all of this is taken from the Bible, as that's how we know something is true. If something isn't in the Bible or it contradicts the Bible, we can be sure it's false) - namely, who we are: sinners, saved by grace, loved by God, children of the Promise and the New Covenant written in His blood, interceeded for by the Holy Spirit, lead into truth by the Holy Spirit, indwelt by God, given the promise of a good future by God. The list goes on and on, and as you read the Bible you'll start finding these gems; they're all over the place. After you start getting a handle on these things, He gives you things to do: love the brethren, confess and repent your sin, receive His forgiveness, dwell in His Word (the Bible). Pffft, just this short list will keep you busy, and He will use it to be growing you up to be more like Him. Wow. So as far as God's will goes, if you aren't doing something right now that you know He says not to do, then relax - you're in God's will. I'm in God's will right now, too, sitting at my computer and writing to you. In a while, I'll wash the dishes and pack my husband's lunch for tomorrow, and that's God's will for me because I am a wife. I'll go feed my baby turkeys (yes, I have baby turkeys. They're at that ugly stage right now, but one of them will look pretty good at Thanksgiving this year!). Later tonight I'll open my Bible and continue reading (I just started Jeremiah; I read through the Bible every year) and pray for people I know and people I don't know (Christians having a hard time somewhere in the world; God knows who they are). I hope this helps. God bless you, dear.
