Stupid politicians, superintendents, school board members.
pollens and other things that are attacking my system.
Papers that need to be gone through.
and on the good side:
Sprouting onion plants!
Sprouting zucchini plants!
Sprouting pumpkin plants!
Wonderful teachers that are doing their best despite what the powers that be dish out.

I want to add ridiculous traffic to Dave's post. At least it seems that way to me every time I drive down that way.
And, starting this weekend, there will be far too many tourists in my city. My beaches will be filled with loud, rude, obnoxious people driving expensive cars and acting like I'm a lower form of life. That's why I say "COME ON DECEMBER!!!"

Bill ... your post reminds me of an episode of Family Guy. They live in Massachusettes, outside of Boston I think (not sure if the city is real or fictional). At any rate, they are enjoying the summer air and talked about how they only have so much time before the leaves change and the New Yorkers flock there to watch the colors change. Then one leaf changed and suddenly the scene was full of New Yorkers. It was soooo funny.
You can add traffic and construction to my list.
And fog and overcast days.

Layoffs.
Another company just annouced a layoff of at least 50 folks. Kinda makes it difficult for those looking for jobs already when whenever you turn around there's another company layoff folks and now there's 50 more people competing for the job you just applied for.
Crazy I tell you!

Produce. I live in the agriculture pocket that supplies a big portion of the nation's produce. About every 1/2 a mile this time of year is a huge produce stand filled with produce straight from the field. Best stuff in the world.

Happy busdrivers! -- the school district just finalized a contract for the bus drivers this week AND it was the last day of school around here too, WHICH leads me directly to my next selection. . . . .
HAPPY CHILDREN! - well most of them anyway. My youngest did say that she was almost crying on the bus today because she really didn't want today to be the last day and that she wanted MORE days of school!
and for todays third selection. . .
Bunny rabbits. This is the THIRD year in a row that we've had baby bunnies born out under our lilac bushes. We have WAY too many bunnies in the neighborhood!
