League MVP seems a lot more shallow than championship MVP doesn't it Kobe?! How do you like D'feat. Cause Boston's D surely shut you down. Hopefully Kobe it shut you up and made you realize that there is no I in team. I wonder who Kobe's going to blame for this embarassment! Jackson, his fellow players, the refs, all three, the fans, aliens from another planet? I also wonder what Phil Jackson thinks about Kobe now. Does it reinforce his previous opinion of him? Why did I ever think the teams were evenly matched? Boston must have toying with them in earlier games. The Lakers looked like a high school team playing a benefit game against a pro team. If hockey has the trap then basketball has "the swarm" because it looked like Boston had at least two to three guys on each Laker who had the ball. They gave them no room to move. 39 points!!!!! From now this team can be know as the LA Fakers or Flakers!! In tribute to cow: Los Angeles hat in Spiel sechst erwürgt.

I'm a Celtics fan so of course I'm happy they won but I must commend the Lakers on a good effort. Aside from last night every game was close. They deserve credit for winning game 5 after their horrible collaspe in game 4, especially holding off another Celtics late charge. The Celtics were just a better team. Congrats to Coach Doc especially, I wonder if any Celtic fans want him fired now. Some Celtic fans were calling for his firing on the Boston Globe forums during this year's playoffs! Well a coach can't have a better season than one that ends with an NBA championship
