and one of my 4 refrigerator magnets (i like to keep everything very neat and tidy in there, can you tell? lol) says:

i prefer hostess fruit pies to pop-up toaster tarts because they don't require so much cooking.

Now you can eat Poptars cold you know? I do that.

Well, if you don't wave, you could just look up, make eye contact for a few seconds, smile sweetly, then turn away blushing. He'll be flattered.

That's funny Kimberly! Do you at least have hot pads? A few years ago I tried to help a male friend of mine learn the art of hosting a party at his home. I had a whole bunch of hot potatoes baking in the oven and I go looking for a hot pad to take them out and he didn't have any because I was the first person who ever used his oven....after living there for 3 years! He had to give my his snowmobile gloves to use as hot pads. That memory always cracks me up!

Oh my, I still do not have any hot pads! I have learned in the past that they are very handy to have though.

Well...I did find out that snowmobile gloves do work quite well. So, if you have some, you're all set.

If I didn't sense any bad vibes from him I would just say hi. Is he close enough you could do that without having to get the bull horn out?

Hi Vern, I have usually used towels instead. I do think that I indeed did have a hotpad at one time, but since lost it or something.

yeah...I've used a towel before in a pinch but I did learn they aren't too good on those heavy glass baking dish...the heat goes through the towel pretty fast.

I was trying to find somewhere to put this...

I've been having a few experiences like this lately... does this happen to anyone else?

Tonight, I sent an email to another therapist who does relationship counseling among other specialties. I told him I couldn't do what he does. It hadn't been but a few minutes later after hitting send that I got a knock at my door... my landlady had told one of my neighbors to come see me, that I'm a counselor! Funny thing was, that was days ago... so why did she pick tonight, AFTER my conversation, to come talk to me?? And about the things I said I didn't want to do?? Coincidence?

Now...are you guys saying butter on cold poptarts? Good thing you can't see my face as I type that question. I like butter but it has to be melted and well blended into things. My young sister use to sneak into the butter dish and take big globs out and eat it like that and that just makes me kind of feel gaggy.

Nooooooo!!!!! They have to be HOT and right out of the toaster. Slather on some butter and let it melt... then enjoy! Oh, and don't be wearing your work clothes... unless you want to wear butter to work.

I do know what you mean. And I don't really think it's coincidence. I think sometimes God orchestrates these kind of encounters.
