Any one on this forum ever hear about solar powered attic fans?I have
noticed them on line.For 300 dollars you can get one that will draw on
1200 sq/ft of attic space.They are installed in your roof and draw from
the soffit vents.I recently enlarged my soffit vents considerably.
Considering how much sun we have in southern mississppi they should
work well.Any opinions out there?

I have no personal experience with them, but here in the
Sun soaked south they do seem like a good idea.


Especially if you have a part of your roof that gets sun all day.
