I hug my kids several times a day, and my husband does, too. We don't plan to ever stop, LOL. Hubby and I still hug our parents. My brothers still hug my mom and dad all the time (they're in their late teens). eta: quote:
I told him the first time I saw it that if he was NEVER to deny his little sister a hug when she wanted or needed one for as long as he lived! He promised me that he wouldn't and I fully believe that he intends on keeping that promise! It is such a special bond he has with her! Garsy, I just saw this part of your post. I specifically remember a time my dad told my brother and I to hug. We must've been 6 and 8 years old. We were both like "ugggggghh", and our dad told us "You two better hug now, because one day you'll want to hug each other and you'll wish you hugged more when you were growing up." I remember that so well. And boy are parents wise like that!!! Now my brother and I are 25 and 27, he's in the Navy 1,500 miles away and what I wouldn't give to see and hug him more often!!!
