I'm looking for thoughts on forums or communities that fit my profile. Anyone have any thoughts?
I'm new to Crosswalk forums, but also to posting in general. I haven't spent much time on the computer for years since I'm on it all day at work. I've been struggling to find a good life balance, and with only two more years before I hit 40, it's become my mission. My motto has been to work hard, play hard -- meaning to enjoy life, but we need to work hard in life as well.
For the past year I have been working hard to build my relationship with God. It's still a struggle for me as I don't have the positive re-enforcement in my life. My husband is not a practicing Christian, nor are our community of friends, but it's important to bring our daughter up with God. She just turned 4. I accepted Jesus in my heart when I was 10, and although I made some bad decisions in life, I never forgot him, and always knew he was with me.
I'm a career woman that's married with one child. My husband is blue collar, but is great with our daughter.
If you are out there, and are facing something similar, please let me know.
