God bless and comfort; you, your dad, the family and all her acquaintances, who'll miss this loving servant of God. I'll be praying for you all.
Although we know that this life must come to an end, we are never willing to give up our lovedones. But because we know we can trust God in ALL things; then we know also, that we can rely on Him, to carry us through our most difficult times. Remind your dear dad (as well as yourself), to lean on the Lord and trust Him to carry you through this. You mentioned that he'd feel that he had no reason for living now. Tell him that you are a really good reason that he should want to live. Let him know that you need him in your life. Now, more than ever before! Remind him too that, God created us for His glory, and until our time is fulfilled on this earth; we are to glorify the wonderful Creator! Praise Him, for bringing this precious woman into your lives for 73 years of untold joy! For 53 years of faithfulness to her loving husband! And for sharing her love of God with her children, family and friends! And continue to remind yourself that this is NOT the end. The next time you see her; you'll NEVER have to say goodbye again!
