When I was single, a man who had a high sense of integrity, who loved G-d first and foremost, and who was not in ministry as in not a pastor or minister or one who aspired to such a future. Everything else was secondary.

I need someone who will put God first and then me second. I want to be completely comfortable telling him even the hardest things. Someone I can trust completely. Someone who can trust ME completely. Who loves to laugh and can make me laugh even though I was crying just a moment ago.
Looks are important, whether you wat to admit it or not. I'm attracted to tall, masculine guys.
Finally, he would need to know he's not perfect being in a relationship to me is about loving someone in their weaknesses and knowing they love you in yours. You help eachother grow in spirit. You have to ne yourself around them-- I wont be in a chinadoll relationship. He needs to ne able to love me even with the makeup off.

That sounds so like a common cliche, spoken or written under "Christian duress," because one is expected to, because one ought to, because one must appear to be religious, but . . .
After 21 years of marriage, ask me now how important that is. It is of the utmost importance. We now have that in our marriage. Thank G-d. Praise G-d. It makes a major difference, and that difference is key to everything else in the marriage.

Friendly with a warm smile and a quick laugh and in touch with his playful side. That is what it takes to spark initial attraction but for long term the list is longer.

Kind, clever, strong, funny, masculine (I love when boys are unafraid to be boys!) and taller than me. As I'm only 5'5", that's never been a problem though! ;)

I like brains ... I can always have a conversation with a smart man. A relationship is way more than lovey-dovey feelings, and when you have a partner who can carry on a conversation on many topics, and doesn't tire of learning things, that's a huge gigantic plus!!
I also like a man who is observant.

Don't be general... Example don't just say a guy who loves God. How should he show his love for God? Does he minister, teach, or play music what? Be specific!
Yes, looks can be nice but, they are NOT everything! I have found that out the hard way.
I am attracted to a guy who is passionate about God and has a visible fire in him that you can see in his eyes when he talks to you, he isn't afraid to pray in public or to let people know where he stands in his relationship with Jesus Christ. He puts God #1 in his life, even before me and he goes to God and asks His opinion, especially when making tough choices in his life. He loves to minister to people, not necessarily preaching, it could be that also, but just mostly letting them know he cares about them and what they are going through.
I love to sing, so I want him to like to sing too! And I have always envisioned my future husband being the type of guy who will sit down at the piano or pick up a guitar and just start singing in the morning to worship God and thank him for the new day he has been given.
He has to be sweet, polite, mild-mannered and an all around gentleman. I don't really care if he's soft-spoken, in fact, I kind of like guys who are sort of shy and not too forward.
He has to love kids, because the desire of my heart is to be a mom, and I want him to be one of those kinds of dads who is willing to teach his son how to ride a bike or sit down for a tea party with his little girl. My dad was that way with me when he didn't have to be at work and it is something I really want for my children too.
He has to be someone who loves to laugh and make me laugh too! I like a guy who has one of those smiles that when he smiles at you, it just lights up your day, he has a smile that radiates with the love of the Lord! And his eyes shine with that sparkle of innocence, the kind that comes from putting Jesus Christ above all else in his life!
Well, there you have it! That is my list of what attracts me personally to a guy!

I like strong, masculine guys who are not ashamed of their Christianity. A man who knows his Bible and has a personal relationship with Christ, not just a church-goer. A big plus if he can fix things around the house. But he's really going to get my attention if he asks lots of questions and tries actively, not passively, to get to know me. That's a big turn-on.

For some reason I tend to be drawn to the big bear of a man. The Richard Karn or John Goodman type. This probably has something to do with the fact that I'm a bit of a Roseanne myself. Of course, I'm speaking only physical attraction here. Emotionally and intellectually, an IQ similar to mine is a requirement. Christian is essential. No extremes in looks, political leanings, or anything else for that matter. And he doesn't have to be rich. Just a steady, honest, job.
