If anyone could do it, it would be John.

ORIGINAL: John_O I said "The bible tells us to greet one another with a holy kiss! Which would you prefer?" From that day on Ray always extended his hand quickly when I got around to his area!!! I love it!! Pretty brave of you. I am not much of a greeter. I am known as Ms. Sneakowtski. I love our service, but am not much of a talker, so I say hi to a few people and then run like the wind. I really need to work on this...........I know.

I don't mind hugs as long as they aren't too close of hugs, you know? What's the absolute worst, though, are the people who hug you and their perfume/cologne sticks to you. You get home and smell like a combination of five or six different people.

And when he hugs me I cringe. I had to finally tell him that it was too strong. He went to the bathroom and washed it off.

We ask our parishoners to come unscented. No perfume, no scented deodorant, that kind of thing. We're a handshaking church. The only people I've ever kissed in church were my mother and sisters.

Now it might be just me but it wouldn't be as bad for a woman I think.

I had to put a stop to the holy kiss thing, from close people at my church. The lip to cheek contact was making me break out. Now I accept hugs and airkisses.
