Roberta, don't forget to send your info, and personally, if you are my SS, DH said that I am not allowed a kitty either.

I wanted to add for my SS, that I have been really wanting a shawl type sweater or small lap blanket for church. The air is so cold at church. :)

Hmm, Not sure how big. Maybe 2 ft by 2 ft or 3 by 3. I really don't know how they come. Actually I have a throw that is in my car that we use to sit on and that is 3x4, and it is thin, so I can fold it and it would be a good size. Black, or brown. Something that does not stand out too much.

LOL, my friend brought over the cutest black fluffiest puppy I have ever seen. She brought it with the hopes of leaving it here. I almost said yes because I did tell the kids we would think about getting a dog and I do want one eventhough I am allergic, but then I thought about the story I would have to make up to DH on how we ended up with a dog and figured it wasn't worth it. I already dropped a bunch of bombs on him this last two weeks. But I did ask him about the dog and he had a very firm NO, so then I said that one of the sisters had cute little kitties, and he just rolled his eyes at me. LOL, I love animals as much as I love kids. My dad used to work for the post office and one time he had to physically transport baby chicks someplace. I tried to get him to keep one but he wouldn't. Maybe you should take a poll of which SS's would want a cute little kitty LOL!

No cats for me either. Dogs I love but I think I will pass on a live animal for this round.

Couple of mailing hints: 1. If you are sending food and something soapy (like bubble bath or even candles) make sure they are well protected from each other. i got candy that tasted like bubble bath one time 2. If you are mailing to a warm climate don't send chocolate

Nope, money is not the point of this. The point is to get to know eachother better and pray for eachother. That is why we do this. I always have things around and plan on doing a bit of shopping and a bit of filling in with what I already have.

Ok, I'm in. 1. What kind of climate do you live in? (yes or no to blankets and warm things) Usually quite warm (almost so hot you can barely breath when you go outside) but lately it's been decidedly chilly (we are at our coldest time of year right now) 2. What are your interests? Reading (historical novels), watching movies, letter writing (snail mail), music, circle-a-word puzzles, animals (sorry, can't have any more real animals though) 3. What is your favorite color? Red, cobalt blue, deep purple, jade green, black 4. Do you have a favorite drink for the fall? I don't drink much in the way of hot drinks 5. Do you collect anthing? Friends and snail mail pals. Also Little House On The Prairie DVDs. I've got the first four series. 6. Are you willing to mail a package out of your country? Yes 7. What would you like us and your sister to pray for? I have a lot of health problems. Was just diagnosed with fibromyalgia last week. So healing from health problems would be good. Also the car that we had on loan has died, and we need a new car. (Doesn't have to be new new, but works well). We also don't have the finances to buy said car. Our computer is about to give up too, which is also another expense we can't afford. Pray that the Lord provides for these needs. 8. Anything you want to tell us about yourself to make shopping easy for your Sis? I'm easy to buy for so have fun!

Yes, because it's true here too. Oh, and for those that get Kylie and I for secret sisters, please don't send tea or coffee. Last time I did this, my SS tried to send me some tea and customs destroyed it because it's not allowed to be sent into the country. It's a quarantine item.

Tracy, Can you post a list of who you have so far, that way if a name has been inadvertently missed it can be caught. :)
