Baker's Square chicken stir fry? Oooooo, I'm so jealous! <drool> (Although I like their stir fry salad a little better, LOL!)

It's been so long since I've been to a Baker's Square. I had understood they all closed up. But I think the one in Burnsville may be still open and Brooklyn Park definitely is.

I am serious. How much meat I eat is my business, thank you. Jenny Fair I was saying that out of concern, take it as a wise suggestion. The best is a balanced diet with not so much meat and plenty of legumes and grains as well as veges and fruit. Has anyone here ever tried quinoa? It is a grain very high in protein, I briefly saw someone mention it earlier in the post. Sometimes i eat white bread but not often. Pizza crust and spaghetti, lasange etc have bleach in them. Unless they are wholemeal, that is;and they contain zilch nutritional value.

Probably baked chicken and stuffing. I guess I should get the chicken out of the freezer.

Okay, who called the food police? If I want to be preached to about my eating habits I'll post in the health folder. Please keep your advice to yourself unless asked. Thank You. Tonight I work until 8, so dinner will more than likely be something from the Chinese place down the row. And I already know it isn't the best thing I could be eating, but ya know what? I don't care. In fact, I may order extra meat.

Along with the chicken breast (which I used a store-bought sauce on) and the stuffing, I also roasted some cauliflower. (I cut it into bite sized pieces, tossed it with a little olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper, and baked for about 20 minutes at 400.) It was yummy!

I have a concern regarding some things that were said here recently. One person expressed an opinion and several responded by basically saying this opinion was unwanted and should not be expressed. Since this is a forum which by definition is a place to discuss things, it seems that 'opinions' are what happen here. We have the choice to ignore the opinions of others. Or we have the choice to discuss that opinion. But do we, especially in light of our relationship to Christ, have the right to tell someone they CANNOT express an opinion? I think not. I would like to see us rise above these types of behaviors. I really enjoy participating in these discussions and find it disheartening when I see these types of situations. I love you all but think we need to ponder when to respond to things that are said and when to just walk away and ignore them. I almost ignored this situation as well but believe it does need to be addressed. . . Liveloved And BTW, we're having shrimp for dinner.

MODERATOR'S NOTE :: ATTENTION PLEASE I guess I have to come in and say something. Let's keep this thread about what we're having for dinner. We can discuss whether OUR meals are healthy, etc., but please don't criticize others' food choices. We can ask for recipes; we can drool over others' food choices, but let's keep it positive and not critical. If you don't like someone else's meal choice, ignore it. There. A policy has been set. Let's move on now. Thanks! Tricia Forums Moderator Please do not reply to this message within the forums or chat. Please email Community@salemwebnetwork.com with questions, comments, or concerns. I was hoping to roast a turkey tonight but I am not sure I will have the time (I don't think it's completely thawed yet). I found it for cheap and decided it was time to make up some freezer meals and soup and stuff. Anyway, if I can't get that in, then I am not sure what we'll be having. We've about eaten up all the leftover tacos, fajitas and pizza that we have been working on for a few days.

Ummm, custard sounds good! Think I'll make some tonight. We're having leftover ham from the weekend and whatever I can find in the fridge to go with it.

I... don't... know. I feel extra lazy today - tired, fighting a headache, etc. - so I really don't feel like cooking. Argh. Maybe I'll toss in a frozen pizza.

It's beginning to be cold here so it's soup season. . . YEAH! One of the joys of the fall/winter. So I made Black Bean Salsa Soup.
