That means you're obligated to give her candy unless you prefer a trick.

She will have her favorite candy if I can find out what it is.

That reminds me.....

Oh Wise Counselor Kerrlaw,

I have a new business idea. Regularly in the news there are reports of criminals who didn’t think things through. So I got to thinking that I could have a 1-800 number for criminals—they could call me and run their plans by me and I would give them good advice.

1-800-HFSC (Help For Stupid Criminals)

Example of the kinds of answers a stupid criminal might receive:

“Why, Mr. Jones, your plan has some possibility of success, but your chances of a successful bank robbery will greatly improve if you write your note on a BLANK piece of paper instead of on your deposit slip.”

Some other clever and not so clever names for the 1-800 #:

ROBR Rejecting Obtuse and Bungling Rascals
STAB Sad Thieves Ask the Babe
STUC Stopping Those Unintelligent Crimes
CRIM Criminals Rejecting Inferior Methods

Hubby wants to call it CRiminal Assistance Program (observe the TOS acronym).

So, do you want to invest in this venture?

Glad it's not in the US, that would be tragic.

Why are they recalling them, do you know?

Question:

I have heard Southern Gospel... What's Northern Gospel sound like?

* The Cathedrals (Ohio)
* Gaither Vocal Band (Indiana)
* Signature Sound (Ohio)
* Collingsworth Family (Ohio) (well, sorta--Cincinnati area's as much South as anything)
* Joseph Habedank and Matthew Holt of the Perrys
* Jacob Kitson of Greater Vision (Indiana)

Can I go trick or treating at your house to? Oh wait. I don't believe in trick or treating. I guess that wouldn't work unless you give out candy on other occasions.

Daniel- those all sound like southern gospel to me. I am guessing that Yankees uh Northerners can like, and perform Southern Gospel. I was just wondering if there was a Northern Gospel. You know with a bronx accent or something of the sort.

Oh...actually, a couple of those singers, especially the individual ones I named, have what sounds to my Yankee ears like "no accent."

Bronx Gospel...now that, I must admit, I've never heard!

GOODY GOODY GUM DROPS! I like to go trick-or-treating on Halloween! Maybe I'll go to a costume store web site and order one.

Should I be a:

Peacock?

Butterfly?

Baby?

Or

Someone that Kristin might run into?

Hope these links are okay. If not, please let me know.

I did find the Gospel Music Association of Canada

Check here.

It does look like folk/rock to me.
