This is a letter from Senator McCain to Senator Obama dated February 6, 2006 concerning lobbying reform. Basically, McCain is politely slamming Obama for lying to him (hence why it fits in this thread). This is well before either began running for President, and provides an interesting glimpse of the two as Senators.
And frankly, all I can say is, yee-ouch!

the amazing thing was... telling Obama I know you lied to me...and you're a CREEP (my words, not McCain's)....and being civil polite (and wishing him well).......all at the same time....

Politicians say what they know what we want to hear, not what we need to hear.
Politicians who tell us the truth and tell us what we need to hear instead of what we want to hear are unemployed.
