I ended up sending a thank you letter to the job that I interviewed at last Friday also saying I was not right for the job, but to keep my application on file if anything else comes up.

It is another weekend and I am feeling lazy, not motivated to do much of anything at the moment. I know I should head out eventually today, it would be good for me.

I have been playing around on myspace.com adding contacts and setting up information and so forth. It is nice to be there. It is amazing how this world of information keeps on evolving!

I also have sound with my computer again and that has been very enjoyable as well!

Since I got sound back on my computer I have been listening to radio stations again on the web. I have restarted listening to Spirit 105-3 and getting abreast of current CCM music again. I have been enjoying the station and some songs stand out. I cannot think of a lot of those tunes at the moment, but I will try to compose a partial list when I am more aware.

My boss earlier today said that he needed to talk to me. I knew that this was it, this was the moment that the ball was gonna drop! He said to me that the company had been bought...and that the new owner...

Wanted to keep me on! I will officially be ending my employment with the existing company and starting working for the new one within a month or so. Albiet with the same boss. So it is all bittersweet to me. I just worry about my paycheck bouncing again or something. Kinda stupid I know but I tend to be pessamistic at times. I am sure that it will all work out, I hope! I am a little bit relieved none the less.

I've been fighting an ear infection/earrache since Tuesday night. I thought I would wait a day and see if it would go away because I knew that the medicine for the ears is quite expensive.

By Thursday it got worse, I tried setting up an appointment then but they were full. I ended up setting it up for the next day instead.

When I saw the doctor he gave me a perscription that ended up costing $140 dollars! The worse part of it is that I do not know if it is really working or not.

My right ear was really bothering me yesterday but since the medicine it feels better, however now my left ear is really bothering me now and seems to have the same thing that the right one had before!

This is all making it hard for me to sleep! I cannot wait until this goes away, as it has really been a nuisance for the past half week!

Over this past weekend my acid reflux was acting up. It made it hard to sleep on Sunday. While not in terrible pain, it was bad enough where I didn't hardly sleep at all quite litererally last night.

I still went to work on next to no sleep. After being there a couple of hours I could have either much toughed it out or go home. I decided going home was the best route. The boss was not happy but I do not understand why the boss has to be so upset all the time? He told me to punch out and go home!

I got home but only slept 3 hours waking up every hour instead. I am mostly awake now and cannot understand how I am functioning with so little sleep! I hope that I can sleep well tonight ok.

I also have been having a slight headache as well. I took some Advil but admittedly think that is what probably caused the acid reflux to start with as my ears were infected again last week.

Well that is what is presently going on. I am hoping for a new job and better health sometime soon!

Who Am I?

Ever ask that question about yourself? Who are you really and what are you accomplishing in this world? Ever ask “am I really in God’s Will” or just coasting with lip service but with no real fruit to bear?

I ask myself questions like this a lot because truth be told, I work Monday through Friday can’t wait to get out of work while trying to do the best job, but then do nothing all that productive on the weekends.

When I was only 15, there was a word of knowledge said over me from 2 different rerelaed sources saying that I was being called to “The Ministry.” As with any words of knowledge there are conditions to be followed and you put these words on the shelf until the appointed time.

I think of David when he was first Anointed: 1 Samuel 16:6-13

So, here I wait with much anticipation to do what God has called me to do, but seem to just be coasting along life waiting for one day for things to change, some big moment to come out of the blue, etc. However, it is much more likely that it will be a gradual thing instead.

I know that God put this desire in my heart, but it is just a matter of stepping out.

My acid-reflux is still bothering me. It stinks still not feeling well. Today I am feeling just a little bit better, but overall things have been about the same. This is what I get for drinking Pepsi in excess and believing that I can eat anything I want when I want without consequence. Sigh, I will likely see the doctor again this week and see what he recommends.

Lately I have been thinking about my life and well, I cannot help but think "loser" is how to describe my life. There are many things other people my age have accomplished, but I haven't. I do not ever feel that I will be a leader, and wonder if I will ever get out of the muck that I am in. Oh well, not much else to say, it is just how I am feeling at the moment.

Nothing much to report right now. My acid-reflux has been getting better, but I still have to be careful though.

Still not a whole lot to report.

There are some changes that are happening at my work within the next couple of weeks. While everything should be ok, I am a bit stressed about the changes, having a new boss, etc.

I have been listening to a lot of Christian music online lately. I've noticed a change that the songs seem more worshipful. While on the whole it the style of music is not my favorite (most of it being rock) it is nice to hear Jesus proclaimed!

I also want to go take a trip somewhere soon. Hopefully I can afford to.

I've been pondering whether to end my blog here or not? Its been kinda hard to post here every 10 days...

Well it doesn't look like anything is happening with work yet. It is still on a wait and see mode.

Today was a busy but good day, I am happy that it wasn't all that burdening.

I decided not to let my blog dye at least as of yet.

My acid-reflux is acting up again. Just when I think I am ok and can eat just about anything I eat the wrong thing and I suffer again.

Also, I signed up for Crosswalk Plus today. I am taking it on a trial basis and see if I will enjoy the music, etc. So far, so good!

Well, I gotta be hitting the hay. Gotta get ready for work tomorrow. Hopefully I will be sleeping better tonight than I did last night, where I could hardly sleep and didn't really get any sleep until the sunrise.

I had an interesting thing happen yesterday. The circus is in town and what should stumble upon during my lunch hour, about a 1/2 elephants!

I went into downtown today and did a little bit of shopping. I ended up buying shoes that were a little bigger than my feet because they were more comfortable. Boston continues to bustle on the weekends and I still have to avoid people.

I went to eat at Wendy's in downtown too. I do not know if they have this in other cities but this Wendy's is set up where you wait in a barrier like line (similar to a bank) and someone takes your order in line. After that, they give you the slip and when you make it up to the cashier, you give them the slip where you pay, then go to another window to go get your order. I am surprised that they still do it that way. The place brings back old memories as well.

I upset my acid-reflux by again by going there though. I went for a walk earlier which helped.

Welcome Back Kotter is on TV right now. I think I am gonna go watch that.

My new favorite song happens to be a Christian one for a change. While I have had other favorite Christian tunes, Casting Crowns "Praise You In This Storm" really is resonating with me!

Other Christian songs that I particularly dig have been "The Next Thing You Know" by Matthew West and "Nothing Left To Lose" by Matt Kearney. Now that later I do not technically consider to be a Christian song per say. I first heard it on mainstream radio and did not even know that Matt Kearney was even a Christian until I saw him listed on Crosswalk's playlist one day.

Nothing Left To Lose is in the running for one of my favorite songs of the year, running with the secular song Unspoken by Natasha Beddingfield.

The leaves are turning color and falling to the ground. One place in the city I noticed that half the leaves have already fallen to the ground.

Well I made it through another week. I got to admit, there are things in my job that I really do not like. I especially do not like being interupted, and I do not like it when a customer has a copying request that involves anything complicated. For example a customer came in with a book and wanted 3 pages copied double sided on 3 hole paper in which he provided.

Now this request might sound fairly straight forward from the get-go, however, what this involves is figuring out which way to put the paper holes in the machine, and also remember that the machine is going to flip the paper differently if it is double sided as well. Anyway, I figured it out and it work worked out ok. While that was a more complicated request, it is not unusual on the kinds of things that I have to do.

I have decided that I have 2 favorite songs right now, one Christian and one Secular. The Christian one is the song previously mentioned in my blog by Casting Crowns. My favorite secular song has returned to be Breath (2 AM) by Ana Nalick, but I still like Unwritten by Natasha Beddingfield as well.

I was asked the other day in a forum if there was any books that I would ever read again? I responded with 2 books, 1 being "Winning God's Way" by Loren Cunningham (which the book now has a different title) and a book called "Real Christians Don't Dance" by John Fischer. I did a search on the book and it turns out that the book is online. Here is a link to one of my favorite chapters. Jesus (bleep!) I find this particular chapter interesting because I used to own the very same typewriter!

I am hoping to do some traveling soon, in fact I look forward to it, that is if I can afford it. I have my sights on Chicago and also visiting a friend or 2. I will not really know until December if I can afford to travel or not though.

As far as work, the latest word is that things will be happening the last week of December. I am supposed to meet with the new boss by the end of this week to get the "details" on how things affect me, etc.

I just booked a trip to Chicago! It will be my first time there since 1992. I look forward to going there!

Also, just in time for Thanksgiving, I started a thread on the infamous WKRP Turkey Drop episode. There is a link there for youtube to see the actual episode.

I am in a pondering mode this evening. Been thinking about my life and where it is and where its heading. As I start to reflect on my life the past few years, I think that it is time for me to start moving forward, but not sure if I am ready yet. I have a strong feeling that 2007 is going to be a period of big change. I do not know what those changes will be but something is on the horizon about to break.

I am getting ready for my trip this weekend, it should be fun...

I have been struggling with work in the effect of that I seem to dwell on it too much, even when I am not there. I realize that this isn't healthy and need to start praying that this changes.

Tomorrow, we resume the project of copying file folders from boxes. These documents have various sizes to them including international A4 paper mixed with regular 8 1/2"x11" paper as well. A4 is common in Countries outside of the United States while the U.S. uses 8 1/2 by 11". Its not fun but at least it is work. I still do not like copying it none the less.

I had a great weekend! I went to Chicago. It started out with me waking up before 4AM and then taking a cab to the airport by 4:30. There wasn’t a big line and I ended up having 2 hours before my flight.

When we finally had the boarding call for the plane, they announced that they were ready for boarding, all 15 of us! The flight was good but long and I got to enjoy listening t
