Father there are so many companies laying people off work, and people who are struggling already to find a job, without having been laid off. The logistics cause one to wonder if there is simply not enough work to go around!
Lord, I ask You to lead people/companies to create situations where workers are needed. Give people excellent ideas Lord.
I pray for my own sister, and my brother-in-law (husband of another sister), who have both been looking for work for a while. You know their financial struggle Lord. Please open doors for work for them.
I pray too for several hundred people here in NZ, from two separate companies, who have just been told they are being laid off - and just before Christmas too! That would be hard for them Lord. Please comfort and help them Lord. I pray they may find You and Your provision in this circumstance, if they don't know You already.

Lord,
Please help these listed here who have lost their jobs or are losing them to find work and until they find work, please provide for their needs. Lord, I still can hardly believe the hospital here in town closed, I passed it this morning and saw it roped off with signs announcing the last day it would be open, it looks so deserted and I do not know if everyone who lost their job there is working, so I pray for those also that you would provide for their needs. The happiest workers over there were always the ones that did the everyday service jobs, yet I know those are the ones that always get left behind in something like this, I lift them up to you Lord and ask that you would provide for their every need and send them work. In Jesus name, I pray, amen.

Our Father, I join Cindy in praying for those who lost their jobs at this hospital along with the increasing number of unemployed people. Please come to their rescue and may You be glorified. In the name of Jesus the Messiah I pray. Amen.

Father, so many people suffer because of the economy and job losses. Please hear our prayers for those who desperately need a miracle concerning employment. I pray for those who live paycheck to paycheck and for those who's unemployment benefits are denied. Please help those who have zero income coming into the household and the single parents out there who receive no child support. These times bring about more depression and people just feel so helpless. Open doors for opportunities, Lord. I know that You are the great provider. You blessed my family and held us very close when my husband was unemployed for six months with no benefits. Please do the same for these others. I don't know who they are, but You do. Many businesses are folding and people like our sister Allisonbrett and husband, they just have to hold out and hope for the best possible outcome. Help them, Lord. I give You the glory for I know what You do for Your children. I ask these requests in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen

I'M PRAYING FOR EVERYONE LOSING THEIR JOBS. IT'S SO SAD WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO OUR COUNTRY. MY DAUGHTER FINALLY FOUND A JOB THREE MONTHS AGO AND IS NOW LOSING THIS ONE ALSO. I'M SO WORRIED FOR HER. SHE WILL HAVE NO HEALTH INSURANCE AGAIN. I PRAY OUR LORD STEPS IN AND HELPS ALL THAT HAVE LOST THEIR JOBS.

Thank you for having provided jobs for some...maybe for many. Please help your people to see opportunities around every corner and to use well each of those opportunities. I ask in Jesus Christ's name that you receive credit for the jobs that you provide. Amen.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for those who prayed for us. Our business closed for good 11/20. The past week we've been so busy cleaning out our building and finding places for all our equipment, tools and supplies. We have accepted that God has closed this chapter of our lives and are anxious to see where He is leading. We realize this journey has led us to meet so many wonderful people through the years who we've been able to bless and who have blessed us in return.
We have applied for many jobs but have heard nothing yet but we continue to trust. We have very little in the bank, not enough right now to survive even into December, no savings, no investments and no unemployment benefits in which to draw on and mountains of debt including the IRS. My husband will be contacting the IRS Monday, Nov. 30 to try to find what we can do to eliminate the $22,000 they say he owes from the years before our marriage. Please pray for us as we need God's grace and mercy with our dealings with them.
Through all of this we have been so blessed. We are so thankful for those few who have been willing to help us move and those who have lent us trailers, forklifts and other heavy equipment to accomplish all we need to by the end of the month. Such a blessing you cannot know!!!
We continue to search for employment and a way to provide for our family and our needs. We join with everyone in praying for those seeking employment and financial resources to support their families. We humbly ask that you add us to your list as well.
