Hey Pam! It's good to hear about Toby. Sorry about your headache and stiff back but I'm glad you feel better and aren't letting it get you down.

That cropper hopper is a cool tool! What a job you have! Aren't old photos fun, though?

It really is amazingly enjoyable. I'm finding things that I thought existed, and here they are!

I just found some photos of my stepfather's first wife. And his parents. I'm excited to give them to my sister (his daughter)!

Oh, that is really wonderful. I bet she is going to be so thrilled!

Ok Lioness, that sounds very practical! I am just wondering why I have gone on so many interviews recently, but not been further considered (with the same company no less.)

I can't help you there, Humble. Each situation/company/employer is no doubt unique. I do pray that you are blessed with employment that is a perfect match for you.

That sounds fun, Sarah. What will you be doing as part of the outreach?

The interview is not everything. Yes it gets you in but there are some people who pass the interview who just aren't cut out for the job. So just keep at it.

Thanks Lioness!

Hi Jill, I used to be cut for these jobs. I think that there are a couple of variables at play here, which include but not limited to both my spare tire and my age.

Hi Sara, thats good that you are involved with the Thanksgiving ministry this year!

Pam that cropper hopper thing looks great. I have tons of pictures to go through also. Unfortunately some of the people I haven't a clue as to who they are. Sad huh?

So glad Toby is getting to be back to his ole self. I know you are so happy to see him playing.

Hey Mike--try not to be discouraged with the job situation--God's timing is not always understood by us but it is perfect.

Lioness--I do not envy you the interview stuff. Once the first group or two gets eliminated it is so hard to determine the next--they are usually all qualified and it gets down to the gut feeling thing.

Same here. Also can't date some. Those I'm putting aside for now and later will go through them with my sister, and we'll either make guesses or I'll end up filing them under "unknown".

Those who don't bother to show up for the interview.

It never occurred to me that anyone would do something like that until I started applying for law enforcement and saw how many folks don't even bother...

Praying for you! Job searching pretty much hoovers - no matter who you are.
