lol. Hi everyone!

Sometimes I go back and forth between moods when it comes to CW and FB. There are times when I wanna be here more and vice versa. The everyday and random musings tend to be on FB now. So maybe da island can be reserved for some real conversation. Goodness I'm going to make you think here? lol

On that note, right now I am trying to think about what I want to blog about next. Having sort of a blogger's block right now. I try to mix up the order of the topics. Not unless you want to read about food for an entire month. lol

Had lunch with Sarah yesterday. It's been awhile hasn't it Sarah?

Hello islanders!

I haven't been around CW that much recently, in case you're wondering why I don't post too frequently in this thread or elsewhere.

I've been MIA as well. CW has been acting up for me. Tho't it was my new computer. Just want to ask for prayers....lots going on. If anyone has been tracking my FaceBook status, I'm really stressed and not getting any answers from the doctors yet....

You're most welcome. Praying is one thing we can certainly do for each other. I'm not a facebook person so I'm just asking God to put his healing hand on you and to provide for all your needs.

God Bless.

Thanks for asking, Jill.

Life's been busy lately. In addition to the job search which has been going on for far too long, one of my housemates was hospitalized twice over the last month. The second hospital trip resulted in quadruple bypass surgery. He's only six years older than I am, so that was sobering news. Thankfully, he's home, but he's got a long road ahead of him.

Hi There Sara, I am just relaxing this weekend. I ended up sleeping/napping for 5 hours after I had logged off here this morning. I had some very bizarre dreams as well.

Is it a tradition in your family to celebrate birthdays of departed loved ones?

After my brother died, each year was gut-wrenching on his birthday. Last year though, I also thought of him fondly and relished in recalling memories of him.

I guess that my blood sugar might have been a little high when I rested.

No not really. We did have a close relationship with my grandmother. To go and visit her grave is to visit her to see her. We did go to her grave today I think my mom just really needed to connect to my he mother on a different level.
