To steer the compass course of life
Set the rigging of your heart
Gainst’ the winds of care and strife
That strain to tear our lives apart

Plot your course with chart in hand
The Word of God which never fails
To bring you home to Beulah land
Despite inclement stormy gales

So loose earth's mooring, cast away
Unknown waters you must ply
Raise your sails, anchors weigh
Venture far from havens nigh

Faith’s winds will set your spirit free
To give your life and heed Love's call
At last you’ll rest on heaven’s lea
Success is theirs who give Him all

Shouldn't it be earth's mooring?

I like this poem a lot. However, it does feel like it needs some punctuation here and there...

Oops, caught me there. Thank you Slushie. I'll fix that now.
