I used to enjoy a simple chat in a simple chat room on this site over a year ago. Now everything is changed. No more chat room. Now I can only "post." Very complicated and depressing..............

Go back and pick chat rooms, not forms! Site channels.

There is no "Chat Rooms" to click.
Just hate that these websites think more complicated automatically means better.....
This used to be a very easy, user friendly website.
I did send this question to the website -- of course, no answer....

Have clicked on your chat link several times. Same thing -- nothing. It says "connecting" but nothing else. Never connects. A year ago it connected almost instantly.
Sorry, don't know what a "portal" is.......

Not sure if I can explain this right. A portal is the address you use to access the site. There are several different addresses to come in with. For example:
Most people use www.faithcommunitynetwork.com
Today I used www.christianity.com
Some people use www.crosswalk.com
a few people use www.crossdaily.com or www.ibelieve.com
there are many, many others.
The different portals lead you to the same site, but each have a different look to them. I'm just thinking that if you came in through a different portal, it might be easier for you to access chat.
BTW- there are a lot of us who enjoy just being able to "post" in forums.

If you are using Avast anti-virus you'll need to disable it.

I've had Avast for years -- never had a problem with the chat room. Then they "improved/updated" the website. Then it quit working.
I did email for help a month ago. No response.....
