drake112 -> I need few answers... (10/6/2009 12:26:11 PM)

Hello everyone,

I don't know, if I posted this in the right section of forum... Please excuse me, if I posted this in the worng section... I'm just looking for answers or advises.

Three weeks ago, my mother went missing without a trace. For one week, I didn't even ''care''.
At 3rd week police found her dead... After few days of shock, she showed up in my dream..
I had so called ''Lucid Dream'' then... I remember everything perfectly...
This is what we talked about:

Me: Mom?
Her: Yes..
Her: Will you make me coffee? (She loved coffee very much..)
And then I somehow asked something dumb...
Me: How's heaven ? (As she was christian, I assumed she was in heaven)
then she droped dead and cold right next to me... I freaked out and woke up.
Since then, she hasn't shown up in my dreams.

Since then, I've been wondering about this...
I have looked from scientific point of view, and I have found nothing...
At the begining, I assumed that my mind was just playing tricks on me with all that ''gone missing'' and ''found dead'' stuff..
..
I've been to my grandmothers, grandfathers funeral... and still, I never had such dreams before.
This dream was something ''out of extraordinary''...

Reason why I post this ?

I just want to find out, why she was in my dream...
Maybe religious people can answer to my question..

thats why I post this..

p.s
sorry for my poor english grammar knowledge...

Luke 24:2-'They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3 but when they went in, they did not find the body. 4 While they were perplexed about this, suddenly two men in dazzling clothes stood beside them. 5 The women were terrified and bowed their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, "Why do you look for the living among the dead? He[Jesus]is not here, but has risen.

'How's heaven ? (As she is christian she is in Heaven) Now you have a critical decision outside your limited 'scientific' sense. This decision is as easy as 'ABC'.

Admit-“[Jesus] proved He had a valid claim [to His Deity] but His own rejected His claim yet as many as receives His message; to them he claimed the right to become redeemed of God and appropriate His Name.“ John 1:11,12

Believe-“[you can be] freed from the arrogance that enslaves you [and] come into His obedience resulting in purification and Eternal Life. For the wages of sin is death but the free gift of is Eternal Life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 3:22,23

Confess-“[His message] is near you, in your mouth and in your heart"--that is, the word of faith which we are preaching that if you confess [obedience to] Jesus as Lord with your mouth and you will be saved. For with the heart a person believes resulting in righteousness and with his mouth he confesses resulting in [obedience].” Romans 10:8-10

John 11:25-'Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live, 26 and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?" 27 She said to him, "Yes, Lord, I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God, the one coming into the world."... 40 Jesus said to her, "Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?" 41 So they took away the stone. And Jesus looked upward and said, "Father, I thank you for having heard me. 42 I knew that you always hear me, but I have said this for the sake of the crowd standing here, so that they may believe that you sent me." 43 When he had said this, he cried with a loud voice, "Lazarus, come out!" 44 The dead man came out, his hands and feet bound with strips of cloth, and his face wrapped in a cloth. Jesus said to them, "Unbind him, and let him go." 45 Many of the Jews therefore, who had come with Mary and had seen what Jesus did, believed in him.'

(1) Dreams mean little...if anything at all; I had a dream just this week that I was being chased by a donut. Before the Bible was completed, God spoke in many ways...including dreams. Those days are gone. I would not give you ten cents for anybody's dreams. I have learned that people who put great emphasis on dreams have a tendency to worship their experience over the Bible.

(2) You need salvation...not interpretation.

drake

You've been through a tragic loss. This is your mind playing things out, trying to come to terms with it. Grief is a process, it takes time.

Hi, Drake.

I am so sorry for your loss and will pray God's comfort gets you through the coming months.

I had strange dreams after my mother died, too--it is nothing more than your mind processing the tragedy.

If the dreams continue or concern you, your best bet would be to speak with a pastor about them. We do not allow interpretation of dreams on forums, because we have way of knowing whether or not someone who claims to be able to interpret them is speaking from God or not. Such things are best handled at the local church level.

I am closing this thread to keep others from attempting to interpret your dream.

Please feel free to start another thread asking for prayer or comfort, though.
