My oldest boy woke up quite early this morning, about 5:30, and stuck KJ-52 (It's Pronounced Five Two) in the boombox. Not my kind of music to listen to before I go to work. I like KJ-52, so it's ok. My boys don't always like the music I play in the morning either.

"The Fabulous Johnny Cash" and "Johnny Cash and His Hot and Blue Guitar".

With all of the hype for the movie and all, my nephew is really getting into Johnny Cash and I'm making a CD for him.

Saw the movie last night. It was outstanding. The little girl who played June Carter really can sing.

I actually like the movie version of "It Ain't Me, Babe" better than Johnny and June.

I am actually looking forward to going to see that movie.
Cd's in my Cd Player:
The New Third Day
The New U2
And a couple of mixes

Mark O'Connor - "The New Nashville Cats"

Before that, it was Nitty Gritty Dirt Band's "Will the Circle Be Unbroken" - the first one from 1972. I just got it on CD last night.

Chris Tomlin, "Arriving."
I love "Holy is the Lord," "Your Grace is Enough," "All Bow Down," "On Our Side," and "King of Glory." But my favorite lyrics are from "The Way I Was Made":

I want to live like there's no tomorrow
I want to dance like no one's around
I want to sing like nobody's listening
Until I lay my body down
I want to give like I have plenty
I want to love like I'm not afraid
I want to be the man I was meant to be
I want to be the way I was made.

Peace...out

The Ramones - "Leave Home"

The Epoxies - "Stop The Future"

Black Flag - "Everything Went Black"

Sto Zvirat - "Druhu Brada" (eclectic ska from the Czech Republic)

You know how sometimes a particular piece cant be explained with words?

Gut-wrenching - that is the effect Sigur Ros has on me. It makes me shudder.

Turns out he has some music on his website which is free to download: http://sigur-ros.co.uk/media/index.php
