Oh, I have a headache I can't shake - it's from not being able to cool down today - I got overheated while getting ready this morning, and then church was warm and no matter what I do, I can't get past it - even when drinking ice cold stuff. Ugh..........

the IL-ian in me wants to stick out my tongue at you...but you know i wouldn't do that. (well...just real quick!). i've been fighting headache today, too. cried so much i was afraid it was going to progress into a migraine. have taken a couple pills, so it's manageable. hope you have a better evening. rest and relax, friend.

I'm taking my meds for it - and they help the headache, but not with the heat. Right now, I'd like to sleep with an icepack!
Ugh, getting older stinks.
Understood about the tears triggering migraine. Glad yours isn't there. I'm hoping my meds keep mine from going there too.

Just wanted to update everyone on the Thing 2 church issue. We went into an empty classroom with the teacher and I had Thing 2 tell him what his concerns were and what he would like to see. The teacher had no clue as apparently (as we knew) the children's director didn't tell him any of this was going on. We came to an agreement that the teacher would try to tweak his teaching a bit to incorporate more scripture time and less free time as that is when the boys would get rowdy and thus get in trouble.
Sooo...all in the all the talk went really well and I'm looking forward to working with the teacher to get things moving more smoothly.
I am still meeting with the pastor this week to discuss the lack of response I received from the children's minister. So we'll see how that goes.
Thank you all so much for your prayers and advice and I will update you about the meeting with the pastor when it happens.

Just wanted to say thanks to all who prayed yesterday - not only for me but especially for my friend. I just spoke to him a short time ago, and the event went beautifully and everyone was thrilled with his performance. It was the first one of the season for him. I didn't tell him that I had people praying, but I know it made a difference......so, thank you.

please pray for a journies mercies for me this week. my prayer before i start driving every time, is "ok, Lord...here we go again. grant me journies mercies, and help me to drive protectively. please keep me safe...and everyone on the road around me safe. and help them to drive well, too! ok...here we go!"

Please keep me in prayer, My parents and I have lost our home and we are staying with some family. And on top of that, all my friends are moving out of state, and the ones that are not, well, I don't get a chance to talk with them alot. My Choir leader, whom I thought was my friend, said she doesn't want to meet with me to receive counseling from her anymore...I am just dealing with a whole bunch of stuff. Please keep me in your prayers...Thanks.

a friend from church has been out of work since winter due to injury and will likely lose her job soon and would like to receive prayer for God to reveal career direction to her into possibly other types of work in the same field.

praying... and can totally understand, since i still don't know if i can ever go back to driving full-time after my injury in jan. it's sooooo daunting...possibly having to change careers (again)!

i doubt i can say this without sounding sappy, but i lead a pretty "singular" life. i only have one gf and even we don't get to spend much time together. my folks are good about making me feel cared about and worried about, but other than that... y'all just make me feel 'wanted.' thank you...
