Thanks everyone for praying about my health and voice juries. Not only was I completely healthy, but this was the best voice jury I've had since starting back to school!
The Lord is great, and greatly to be praised!

Today's doctor report revealed that my grandfather's kidneys have stopped functioning. My mom and her sister will be with him at his home with Hospice care probably later this evening. Please pray for peace for both of them as well as a quick, painless healing for my grandfather. Thank you.

Oh my goodness - absolutely will be praying. Glad Hospice can be there.

I am now at T-7 weeks to my job being eliminated. I have applied for countless positions within the college. There are still more to open up within the coming few weeks. Please pray that the right one opens for me. There is one in my department, but I really don't know if I want to do it (though I could easily and it would keep me with the school - if they even want me to do it).
Anyways, thanks for the prayers.......

I have two today. One, I have a MAJOR headache, (left over from last night apparently) and I'm supposed to go to a Skillet concert tonight. I REALLY don't want to go to a heavy metal concert with a headache.
Secondly, today is the meeting with my pastor. Just pray that I'm able to convey my thoughts and concerns without getting over emotional.

I've some how caught a cold. It has settled in my chest and is causing a lot of coughing. I'm concerned that all the coughing will throw my back out again. I don't know if I can handle that pain again so soon.

This has become a very bad day. My cold is worse. I've been dealing with issues with my car all day. To top it off I just found out that my department is having a materials audit on Wednesday. I'm going to be working lots and lots of overtime in order to get what they've asked for pulled off. While this is really good for my paycheck it is going to be very hard on me. I need to account for several thousand parts in the next 4 days. I have to get a pick list to them by first thing Tuesday morning.

I haven't had my treatment yet. That is scheduled for the 27th. I'm much better than I was last week. Typically if I can spend a couple days laying down after it flares up I can get it under control. This time it flared up on a Monday and I had four more days of work before I could take the time to lay down for an extended period. The treatment will hopefully help long term (months) with my residual pains. My left calf is always tight and spasms when I try to stretch it, sciatic like pain down my left thigh, and some pain and numbness in my right leg. Most of this is at what I consider annoyance level, I'm not reaching for pain pills level. I can live with it though it can make life interesting at times. These pains are caused by the nerve being pinched by inflammation instead of the nerve being pinched because of the lack of a disk.

Since I'm in mostly lurking mode right now, I just wanted to tell you peeps that I check this thread on a regular basis to pray for you all...
And a request: high school district track meet is here this weekend, Twin #1 will be running the 1500 today & the 3000 tomorrow -- she will be running with a very sore/hurt ankle.... The protcetive mom in me wants to tell her don't race & cause further harm, but it's districts & I know her -- she really wants to run. She is ranked 1st in the district & wants to go to state...
She is also very stung out emotionally right now w/ other things that have been going on, so she keeps down talking herself... she can't do that & race well -- please pray for her.
....and since I will be spending today & tomorrow doing back-up timing, ya wanna pray that I won't miss up? ugh! hours & hours of running heats & stop watches...
