babbred -> How Do You Put a Line Through a Word? (2/24/2006 5:45:27 AM)

From time-to-time I've seen people do this in their threads. They'll type a word, and then to make the post ironic or funny, they'll put a line through the word and type something else. How do you do that?

You put an s at the beginning and /s at the end of the text you want to have the line through. The s's need to be in the square brackets [ and ].

So substitute [ for < and ] for > it would look like this

<s>strikeout</s>

Hope that helps[:D]

<s> Like this</s>, except use [ ] instead of <>
Yields:

part of this was quoted from ta_mosquito's post in a similar thread.
