Please pray for the family of Mary G., who took her life yesterday. She was a young wife and mother, a Sunday School teacher, an active member of our community. It is a complete shock, as she has always had a bubbly personality and positive outlook. Her children are both under the age of 2. She passed away this morning after being removed from life support.

Lord, I just pray for this young mother now. I can't even begin to imagine the shock and pain this family is going through. I pray, Lord, that You would just put your arms around them and comfort them. I pray for the father and ask that You would fill him with a calm assurance that You are carrying him through this loss. Give him the strength to get through this time of grief I pray he would not go through this alone, but You would place people in his path that will encourage him and minister to him. Comfort this family and everyone who has been affected by this.

Dear Heavenly Father I lift up this family to you.
I pray Lord for your comfort and peace to be with them.
Help them Lord as they go through this time of sorrow.
Lord please surround Marys husband with the light of your love.
Help him Lord to lean on you and your word.
Give him hope and faith to go forward and be a wonderful parent to his children.
Lord only you know what he needs most right now and I pray you will provide for him and his children.
Be with this family Lord and watch over them.
Bless them Lord with your healing love and grace.

Lord Jesus we thank you for having blessed Mary G's family with her presence while she was with them, and we praise you for the plans that you have for your creation, to do us good and not harm.
We ask Lord Jesus that you heal the emotional distress in Mary G.'s family caused by her unexpected departure. We pray that this experience in their lives will be used to bring all of them into a closer relationship with you, Lord.
We ask these petitions based on the promises of your Holy Word, that they be done in the power of your Holy Spirit, in your good will and timing, and to the Glory of your Kingdom. In Jesus name ... amen.

Father God, I'm in prayer especially for the surviving children of this suicide. May they be cared for in such a way that they can live full lives in the knowledge that their parents are not around for them to get to know and learn from.

Lord God, we know you to be just and merciful. You hand down only what we can handle, but sometimes it seems to be too much for us. Lord, please have mercy upon the soul of Mary G. Forgive her any and all sins tha she might have committed leading up to and including this terrible event. Lord, welcom Mary G. into your holy kingdom. Bless her with the peace that she did not feel she could find here on Earth, and grant her eternal rest with you.
God, have mercy upon her family. Please do not let them feel as though they are responsible for what has transpired, and help to comfort all of them as they begin to grieve for the loss of this woman. Let this tragedy strengthen their love for one another, as well as for you, Lord.
I ask this through our Savior, The Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ, through whom all sins are forgiven.

Oh Lord, when I hear about others who have taken their life, it just brings me such
sadness, so I can not even imagine how this entire family must feel. These precious
children will not have their mother, my heart just goes out to this family who will now
have to get through this pain, please Lord touch this family, bring them closer together
and give them the strength they need to get through each day together..
JB- I do not want to overstep, did she leave a letter or anything? Did anyone know
she was having any sort of problems?
I will be praying for this entire family..

KC and All who have been so kind to respond,
I don't have any information yet. I do know she has a 6 month old, and a toddler. I am wondering if she had post-partum. Those who saw her the other day, thought nothing out of the ordinary. This came as a huge shock. I am sure I will hear more in the next few days. She was only 34. There will be an obituary in tomorrow's paper.

Can I ask you all to remember the husband and children of another mother, S, who overdosed over the weekend also. She has left 7 young children.
Father we lift these families to You. Only You can adequately comfort and ease pain in such circumstances, Lord. We pray for the grieving adults, for comfort and understanding. We pray for each child, Lord, for trust in You and the strength and ability to go on knowing they have a heavenly Father. We pray for peace for the children Lord, and for loving, continual care and nurturing from their remaining parents and caregivers. We ask in Jesus Name

Father, we agree for the children and the families of these women. We ask that you comfort them and that you would draw near to them as they walk thru this difficult time. The void of a mother will never be filled, they will be missed greatly throughout the lives of their children. But you can make them able to bear it, you can bring joy in ways so far beyond the pain. We ask that you do that for these children and their families. Be their joy every day of their lives. Let your words be a mother's words, let your presence be a mother's comforting presence when they need her and miss her. Send your people to be your arms and your nurturing hands and your protecting force in their lives. Guide them and give them peace as they complete the journey that you called them to walk out upon this earth. You can bring beauty from the heartache of such loss, such blackness, such ash. Walk with them Father we pray, thru this life and beyond. Assure them that they will never be alone. Just as you walked with me as a child with no mother. You kept me with such faithfulness and mercy and wisdom... thru the darkest and ugliest of places. You have a plan for each of these precious little ones, a plan to bless them and to prosper them... we agree together that those plans will be fulfilled, as mom's and dad's praying for our own children and these... complete every good work that you have begun in them and with power.
